Veterans and Agency partners in their own words

These videos were recorded at VetsNet by our staff. We are grateful to these folks for wanting to go on camera and share their very human stories without embellishment. They came to us for help and now, by their words, they will encourage others to visit. Thank you to all of them for giving back in a public way.

Hard times, but a positive spirit

We've worked with Zina since September of 2017, assisting her in a variety of needs; ranging from housing assistance to furniture. Although she fell on hard times, Zina was always able to bring laughs and smiles to the VetsNet office. The means to provide assistance to Zina, was made possible through generous donations

Veterans want a job. But they need the means to get there.

Thomas is a U.S. Army veteran that came to is in a time of need. He had landed the perfect job, after overcoming some hard life obstacles, and ran into car issues. Although car repairs are a difficult obstacle to find assistance for, we were able to work out a plan to ensure Thomas did not lose his job.

Center for Veterans Issues is a primary partner and Faye Peters of their Waukesha office is a star partner, with whom we work often to find housing for Veterans. Please give Faye a big thank you for all she does.
