Wisconsin Veterans Network, aka VetsNet, ("us", "we", or "our") operates the http://wisvetsnet.org website.
No personal information is collected at this site unless provided voluntarily by an individual while participating in an activity that asks for the information.

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our service to veterans and the public. When you ask for our help via our web-based Intake Form (Get Help Now) your answers to our questions go into a secure database protected by up-to-date security firewalls and other security measures.

The Wisconsin Veterans Network website uses the collected information to respond appropriately to requests. This may be to respond directly to your needs or to improve the website. Requests for help you sent to this website may be maintained on our servers and/or forwarded to appropriate partner agencies,individuals or businesses in order to respond to the request. We are the hub and gateway of a network and sharing of information is implicit in our nonprofit's name.
While using our website, we may ask you to provide us with certain information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

If you have signed up for our Newsletter, you have given your consent to receive occaisional emails about VetsNet's charitable work. We promise not to flood your inbox. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or the instructions provided in any email we send.

Wisconsin Veterans Network honors and protects donors’ rights to anonymity. When a donor wishes to remain anonymous, we respect such wishes.

Wisconsin Veterans Network will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our website, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.
