The Wisconsin Department of Veteran Affairs opened their Milwaukee VORP office in the VetsNet offices in the last week in October. VORP, the Veterans Outreach and Recovery Program, has representatives statewide in 11 regional offices.”

What is VORP?

According to its WDVA web page, the agency "connects Veterans to community services, provides case management and support, with a special focus on treatment and recovery.” It was created in 2014

Along with Department of Workforce Development and Hunger Task Force, WDVA's VORP becomes the third partner agency to have regular hours within our facility.

In addition, VET Center, Froedtert Medical College, VFW and others use VetsNet office space on an as-needed basis for outreach to veterans in the community.
