The Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) is hosting a 6-week Summer Boot Camp designed to support veterans in transitioning to a post-secondary Education setting.

The program will run from May 21 to June 26, 2025, at the UWM Campus, and will offer valuable academic and career support, including:

Math placement test prep
Introduction to college-level chemistry
Scholarship essay writing
Guidance on navigating degree paths, certifications, and majors
Workshops on VA educational benefits, FAFSA, and scholarship applications

We are offering two scheduling options:

Wednesdays from 12 PM – 2 PM
Thursdays from 5 PM – 7 PM

This is an excellent opportunity for higher-education veterans to build academic skills, understand the college landscape, and get personalized guidance.

RSVP is required for this program, and a light meal and parking pass will be provided.
