VetsNet Capsule Report

Monthly and year-to-date service delivery with numbers

VetsNet Director Quentin Hatfield with Service Navigators Debbie Buchanan (L) and Sarah Moran (R)

First Quarter 2017 Summary

VetsNet and its many partners helped 71 veterans and family members in the first three months of 2017, connecting them to 35 different collaborators who helped fill 170 identified needs .

Emergency relief was the biggest category, with 66 cases, while 49 received homelessness help or prevention. The Wisconsin American Legion, Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative and Milwaukee County Veterans Services handled the most referrals from VetsNet, but all 35 partners came through as needed. It's all about working together, with great community support. Thanks to all who help us do it.

April 2017 by the numbers

VetsNet helped 31 veterans and family members in April, connecting them to 17 different collaborating agencies who helped fill 48 identified needs for service. Homelessness prevention and employment counseling were the top needs. That brings the year's totals to 102 vets and family members helped, with 218 identified needs, by 36 different agencies. Thanks to all who helped. (I planned to use the photo of the 3 staff members)

We will help any man or woman in crisis who served in the military.
Anyone who wore the uniform -- active duty, Reserves or National Guard. Overseas or stateside. War or peacetime. Front lines or in the rear. They are all veterans, every one. We are here for them and their families.
