VetsNet Capsule Report, May 2017

Monthly and year-to-date service delivery with numbers

VetsNet Director Quentin Hatfield with Service Navigators Debbie Buchanan (L) and Sarah Moran (R)

May 2017 by the numbers

VetsNet and our partners helped 40 veterans and family members during May, working together with 15 different agencies to deal with 57 different identified needs. Biggest number of referrals this month were to Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative, Center for Veterans Issues, and Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. Homelessness and its prevention were the biggest needs, with employment training and counseling also in demand.

That brings the year's totals to 142 vets and family members helped, with 275 identified needs.

Thanks to our 30+ cooperating agencies, who always step up when asked.

We will help any man or woman in crisis who served in the military.
Anyone who wore the uniform -- active duty, Reserves or National Guard. Overseas or stateside. War or peacetime. Front lines or in the rear. They are all veterans, every one. We are here for them and their families.
